Dr. Gates is incredible! My husband has “complicated eyes” with keratoconus and has struggled to find a doctor who can get a good comfortable fit for the scleral lenses he needs. Dr. Gates takes the time and care to explain everything in detail with visuals and empower him with a better understanding of his condition and the tools he has available to get the best vision possible! The other staff are helpful and professional as well.

Everyone in the office is kind and welcoming. Dr. Metzger is great…compassionate and caring and very thorough…I ordered a new pair of glasses and loved the help and suggestions in choosing the pair I finally landed on.
I recently moved from out of state and was recommended to Dr Gates and the whole visionary eye care practice by my previous doctor. I have complex eye needs and was blown away by the practice. The office was efficient and extremely knowledgeable. I was so impressed, and could not believe how well the test scleral contacts fit.
Great experience. Knowledgeable and kind staff and doctor. Didn't feel rushed #1 Privately owned practice .Everyone at this office is FANTASTIC !!!!
