Cannot thank Vision Psychology enough. Our counsellor has been incredibly helpful in helping us address our problems as a family with a teenage daughter. Still a work in progress but it’s progress. Without the insight we were on the wrong track, now we’re on the right one. Thankyou David
I have worked with Ania Harnden for 8 sessions addressing PTSD and anxiety. Her methods utilising EMDR have given me the opportunity to experience rapid results by shifting the cognition around traumatic memories. I would recommend EMDR as an effective and efficient therapy especially to anyone who has previously engaged in talk therapy alone without significant improvement. I have found Ania to be a skilled professional and the team at Vision Psychology have been accommodating and helpful in their administration.
Make sure you are booking with a level of qualification you are paying for. Ie psychologist vs councillor. I came with for EDMR with a professional diagnoses from a respected authority i was looking forward to teeatment after a long journey to diagnosis. The councillor refused EDMR sessions even after 2 appointments at near $500. I asked for some paperwork to reflect, what was provided. Fantastic experience. The admin are kind, approachable and extremely helpful. They have gone to great lengths to accommodate for my poor time management and scattered preparedness. I've really enjoyed my conversations with Kelli Harris. She has incredible insight into cognitive behavioural therapy. A really wonderful experience. The receptionists are all very friendly and welcoming. I have been seeing the brilliant psychologist Kelli Harris for 5 months now and therapy has been positive. I’ve seen other psychologists in the past but she’s the one I connect with. She is warm, down to earth and friendly. I was going through depression and anxiety and she eased my mind straight away.
