I’ve been coming here from the day they opened 30 yrs ago! The staff is wonderful, competent and kind! Dr. Kontry is caring and a top professional in eye care.
I was involved in an accident and was in need of a new pair of glasses. I was seen by Dr Knotry and his staff and treated with kindness and respect. I was able to wait the same day of my appointment while they cut temporary lenses for glasses. This allowed me the ability to see while I waited for my progressive lenses. They placed a rush on my new glasses which I had in just a few days. When I went to pay for my new glasses they indicated it would be no charge. I was having a difficult time finding a new eye doctor. The few places my insurance covered did not have very good reviews & I was close to just paying for everything myself. I decided to drive a bit further & give Dr. Kontry at Vision Plus a try after talking with them on the phone. The staff is friendly & competent, the Doctor was right on time, & they cut many of the lenses right there in the office. My husband sat on my glasses and they broke in half. I called vision plus where i got them and Lisa pulled my file and told me my frames were covered under the frame warranty. They would be replaced at no charge . Lisa ordered overnight service and the next day i had my glasses back. Great service as always. Thank-you
Great service & great selection. I have been going here for years and numerous of my friends drive a great distance (over 10 miles) and pass numerous other eye glass places to come here too. Thanks for keeping me fashionable ladies and keep up the great job. No wonder you are a MULTI-YEAR winner of best Eye Care in the area!
The doctor is great but the staff is rude and incompetent. When we were picking out glasses, all four women were sitting behind the counter. After we finally found a pair we sat there staring at them waiting for them to help us and nothing. Then they tried to sell us a different, more expensive lenses and we asked what was the difference and they couldn't give us a clear answer.
