They do not take state insurance for adults to get glasses! Staff was not helpful at all in regards to this!
I usually get my glasses at Vision Plus in Lynden, but after a bad interaction with the Lynden Manager, I decided to visit Ferndale for my glasses this year. The customer service in Ferndale is leaps and bounds better than anything I've ever received in Lynden. I worked with Jessica and she did a phenomenal job making sure I got the frame and lenses I want! She really went above and beyond for me. Was seeing better than 20/20 through a reading prescription that had "expired" a couple months earlier (they still started the order in spite of that; got it a year ago) and had to cancel a $400 lens order because I didn't have a "current" prescription (for something you can buy at a drugstore for $10 - readers) Also, they had a hard time understanding the idea of pushing a charge back onto a credit card.
