A lovely place to go on a self-directed spiritual retreat. I found myself so at peace and calmed by the scenery and the attention to details in each hermitage. It was cozy and welcoming, and I will go back, when I can stay and entire week.

Such a beautiful, holy and peaceful place!
This is a wonderful place for a personal retreat and close to St. Louis. If you're hardy enough, you can make the trek down to the river. The cabins are perfect for solitude and study. The staff has always been so helpful.
