We truly can’t say enough wonderful things about VDCNJ and Dr. Schwartz. From the moment we walked in, we felt supported, understood, and hopeful. I cannot say enough great things about Vision Development Center and what they have done for our daughter. We had come from another Doctor, who basically said that she would need surgery if her one eye that was going out didn’t correct with reading glasses. We came to Dr. Schwartz for a second opinion and thank God we did. Her issue was in fact NOT muscular but neurological and could not have been fixed with surgery. I went here for vision therapy and after completing the program I can really tell my vision has improved. Before I came here I had struggled reading and sometimes even troubles during sports. After finishing the program I could tell that could track the ball more smoothly and I felt a lot sharper on the felid. Along with this the people there are really nice and make the program easy.
Dr Schwartz has been an amazing vision therapist to our son. She is a combination of clinical excellence, compassion and warmth toward pediatric patients. At a different practice my son could not even sit through a routine eye exam and Dr Schwartz could get him to engage and have fun in vision therapy sessions.
