Was not informed that they were leaving a screw inside my ankle by the doctor. He didn't go talk to my family when surgery was done. Just on to the next victim. The second surgery was just a way to get paid again for him and the hospital it should have been discussed before the first surgery. They could have used external screw to set the bone,and removed it with a local. But then they would have only been paid once.
Horrible patient care. Dr Patil is not thorough or elaborate at all. His assistants he has work under him were supposed to put in a request for me for a bone stimulator since my broken toes are barely healing, and 6 weeks later, never did it, due to that my recovery is going to be another 1-2 months long. And all he says is “I’m sorry idk what’s going on we just have to keep waiting” Which will put my recovery at 6 months! RIDICULOUS . the wait was over an hour but once I got to see Dr. Patil, it was well worth it. Dr. Patil is very attentive and professional and listens to you and is in no rush to get you out. Explains everything in detail.
