We stopped over on our long drive home. Easy to get into with an RV with decent sized spots. Walked by the pool and it looked nice, didn’t swim but lots of people were enjoying the pool. Nice off leash dog area. Great staff in the office. It was a quick stop but would stay here again. Saw a few cute cats running around.
This was the perfect little staycation for us a few hours from home, kind staff, grassy tent areas, clean and safe. Incredibly family friendly. Pool was perfect for the heat wave. Koa is always a safe bet but this one felt wonderful, especially as a mom and young daughter solo traveling. Will be staying again in the future next sequoia trip.
We recently stayed at the Visalia/Sequoia KOA RV Park as our home base for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The campground itself was clean and offered convenient amenities, including reliable access to shopping like Costco and other larger city comforts. Visalia is a pleasant town, small enough to explore in a day but big enough to have everything we needed. That said, there are a few things worth noting.
