Should be called Virtua Incomplete Weight Mgmt. The only thing I like about it is the psychologist. Dr. Sharma told me very little. The “support group” is a lecture on zoom where you are muted & you are only allowed to type in the chat. The is NO EXERCISE PROGRAM AT ALL. They tell you to exercise on your own. I’m just going to get the meds from primary. No point in seeing a specialist unless you want surgery.
I would like to share the horrible 1 1/2 year experience recieved by Dr. Wasser’s office. Every time I’ve gone to see him in the office I felt rushed and unheard. In the beginning I trusted that he was recommending all these tests as it was needed.. Would leave a negative review if possible. Was talked down to about money concerns I never mentioned, insisted on not answering my questions on what would happen given two possible treatment scenarios he would be putting me through and was told repeatedly that’s not medicine. Looking at family history, medical history and treatment options aren’t practicing medicine? I had surgery back in April with Dr. Sharma. Had also consulted with Jefferson Bari as well. Chose Dr Sharma/Virtua. I must say, I have never had a more positive experience with a surgical group - the office, the office manager, all staff, are excellent. The doctor is the best surgeon I have ever encountered - friendly, caring, takes time to explain, and the follow up post is excellent as well. You will not go wrong in choosing this group/team.
Dr.Sharma is an extraordinary provider and he surrounds himself with an extraordinary team. He gives encouragement and actually cares about you as a person. I am happy he is apart of my weight loss journey.
