Went in to be assessed. I know I have arthritis various joints in body. She briefly examined me and didn't order any other studies. Said she can't help me there that they really don't treat osteoarthritis there like that. Didn't prescribe any meds to help with arthritis or pain. Referred me to Rowan Virtua Neuro Musculoskeletal Institute who never called me back. I waited weeks for this appointment only to get NO HELP!! Not even notes in mychart. GREATLY DISAPPOINTED!
Went in for a differential DX after being referred by the ER and my care team. Doctor did not even check vitals and was very dismissive of my concerns. She kept reiterating that she "doesn't treat fibromyalgia". I was not there for fibromyalgia; I was there to see if it was something other than fibro as I had not seen a rheumatologist in years and was having new, concerning symptoms. Dr within 5 minutes of visit try to convince me I m not sick,said just old, not even 50 yet! She seems like did not spent a few minutes to look my medical history before visit, i waited 3 months to see rhum., she try to send other drs which I visit recent months, she just look one labcorb result nothing else and thats during visit, kind of lied in medical report claiming i do not have mouth sores, which i told her otherwise...
Really disappointed. Had my first visit two years ago with Dr. Kahn and diagnosed with Reynaud Syndrome. Was given a medication that did help alleviate the symptoms fairly quickly. Was told I could discontinue medication. Now, two years later I tried to make an appointment because symptoms have returned (medication now expired) and I am told I am not allowed to see any other provider in the office and they can not give me medication to provide me relief until my appointment date- which is over 3 months out. I go-to Dr.khan she a great doctor takes time to show you where yourvtherapy and solutions are going. She explains what steps we taking and what and how my medicine is going to help. I switched over from My old rheumatologist and I'm very glad I did.
