My experience with Virtua Midwifery was exceptional, from the front desk staff to the MAs and the midwives. I could not have been happier or more thankful for the care that I received. I went with this practice for my first pregnancy and I couldn’t have enough good things to say about them. The team is amazing, very thorough, communication is always clear, I’ve asked a million questions, called them for any need and never felt like a burden. Every appointment is 30 minutes, no long waits or being rushed out like a regular OB. First time here and I had an amazing CNM named Brittni and she was absolutely amazing! I felt seen and heard and not judged in the least (heavily tattooed and pierced) Brittni was very informative and I didn’t feel rushed though the appt at all. Thank you!
The appointment was great until they couldn’t find a heartbeat. They went out of their way to help me get to a radiologist. As soon as the radiologist confirmed my baby had no heartbeat I never heard from a midwife I’d worked with again. I never got a “checking in” call, which even my vets do after the rabbit gets a vaccine. They sent an order for a D&C to Virtua who took 2 full work days to get back to me, lied about trying to call (they didn’t call the numbers on my documents, I had both phones and neither call log has eve... read more
Virtua midwifery is good. But never schedule your appointments with Joanna. She just wraps up the appointment super quick and sometimes cancels the appointments with out prior notice. I would always recommend to go with Someone for a brief appointment who can hear you.
