I’ve had midwives with a previous pregnancy, this place does not feel like a typical midwife practice — and not in a good way. No warmness. I felt like I was treated like an issue because I am an older mom. They sent me for an ultrasound at a high risk appointment which cost us thousands, said that’s where they send their “high risk patients” only after we were billed (and again this was only based on my age, all my tests and numbers have been perfect) then when we questioned why we weren’t told it was a high risk facility b... read more

Sheila Kaufman, CNM, is wonderful! She’s the reason I look forward to my annual appointments. Sheila has a remarkable ability to make me feel completely at ease. She is always kind, attentive, and understanding. She takes the time to ensure my comfort and goes out of her way to make the experience as convenient as possible. The rest of the staff are equally warm and welcoming, creating a supportive and friendly environment from start to finish.

The Virtua Midwifery is amazing! Shiela Kaufman is truly a gifted healer; and, Gabrielle and all the staff have a great caring professional presence that makes a huge difference for those needing top notch health care. An outstanding example of bringing all the right resources together.
