I want to sincerely thank Dr. Jeffrey Polansky at Virtua Hospital for the outstanding care he provided to my dad during a recent emergency. Reposting this because Google took it down: New to the area and had the misfortune of having to visit this ER last night. Keep in mind when I arrived with my wife it was empty and to be fair she was taken to a bed quickly (which you would expect at an empty emergency room). We visited for extreme pain in her leg, by extreme I mean touching it makes her cry. Tests are ordered for DVT. And then we wait. And we wait... And we wait... I had an amazing and comforting ER visit here recently. I was on a road trip to a family reunion when I had a medical emergency hit me suddenly, within seconds of checking in I was called to the back and was treated and on my way within 45 minutes. They offered to do extra testing on me so they weren't bandaiding my issue but truly wanted to help, I unfortunately had to decline due to needing to get back on the road, so the doctor offered his help and stated he'd be there till midnight if I changed my mind, and gave me advic... read more

Amazing staff. Dislocated finger and the doctor, I believe his name was Killen, set it back within 5 minutes of me walking into the emergency room. Overall staff was very friendly, low wait time, and willing to spark conversation.

Let me tell you, the triage nurse and Dr. Baksi were brilliant. They weren't dismissive at all, and it turned out that I had trigeminal neuralgia. They took my acute pain seriously, and they treated it accordingly. No treating me like I was just having anxiety or drug seeking. No misogyny. No nonsense. Dr. Baksi even dashed off real quick to review a new medical paper on the condition to make sure he wasn't going to prescribe based off old information.
