Would rather die then go back here. I’ve never experienced such mistreatment from anyone in my life. Not only did I witness and experience racism, being neglected, and being misdiagnosed, but they also caused permanent scars on my body that will never be healed. They also administered Fentanyl to me without my consent or knowledge. They kept me for four days in the hospital for something that could have been solved in 30 minutes. I felt like they kept me hostage essentially. I hated my experience, and will never go back.

Only way I would ever come in here again is with no pulse. Don't bother contacting customer service through MyChart for anything either. 2 weeks and no response. This whole organization has gone in the garbage. You all have some work to do. Go somewhere else if you can.

I am grateful to everyone from the guard up front to the nurses and doctors for being so kind. I came in very weak… extreme nausea…headaches.. and a heaviness when I would take breaths. My blood pressure was 90 over 59. Very low. I was there for about 4 hours or so.. but I expect that… they’re busy.. but I still appreciate the care they gave me. Thank you Virtua ER for your care!♥️ People come in scared and in hopes of healing and answers…It’s definitely not an easy job, but I want you to know you’re appreciated!

I strongly recommend having a family member present and recording your interactions. Based on my experience, I felt dismissed, misrepresented in my medical record, and denied the opportunity to speak with an actual physician regarding potential admission. I was explicitly told I could go to a different ER, yet my chart later stated that I left because I “started feeling better,” which was not true.
