Erika and Yvalisse are the kindest medical professionals around. After going through about six urogynecologists, I finally found one who is compassionate and listens. Erika takes the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of your care and goes above and beyond to find effective solutions. Beware of lab bills. I had an appointment with Erika Poderis on 4/8/24. I had to give a urinalysis but was unaware it would go beyond testing in the office. They sent it out to a lab not in my insurance plan and was billed $180, three months later, for out-of-network costs. I never authorized them to use said lab and had no idea it was being sent out. this dr.'s office did not do any due diligence to check my insurance to find out which lab was in-network for me to prevent this from happening. UPDATE: I reached out to Erika Poderis about questions/concerns regarding my treatment process and how the treatment I was provided was actually making things a lot worse for me. I was met with an extremely insensitive and unempathetic response. She told me to “stay the course.” Even though I was in excruciating pain and she refused to do additional testing or listen to any of my concerns. I had my first appointment here yesterday and I want to start off by saying the staff is kind and wonderful. I saw Erika Poderis, NP and she was amazing. She is very intelligent, knowledgeable, and patient. She spent about 45 mins with me explaining my condition and how to effectively treat it. She was incredibly thorough, listened to me, and made me feel at ease. I’ve had very bad experiences with past urologists and am so thankful that I found this practice.
