Dr. Astrid RVW is amazing and always giving natural suggestions to support overall wellness. I was fortunate to meet her back in 2015, as my gynecologist in MD and to my surprise I found her again when I needed care in VA. She’s attentive, kind, and professional. I moved back to MD but will drive the 50 minutes to stay with her.
I’ve been a patient at this practice for 20+ years and have been disappointed by the physician turnover in recent years. My concern has increased though when doctors are over scheduled and running an hour behind when the practice hasn’t even been open for a full hour! This is not a good business practice nor does it demonstrate a respect and commitment to patient care and your patient’s time.
I had a very disappointing experience with this office. I scheduled my appointment over a month in advance and completed all required paperwork online, as instructed. On the day of my appointment, I called at 2:31 PM to let them know I’d be there at 2:40, just 10 minutes late for my 2:30 appointment. Despite being within the typical grace period, I was told after being placed on hold that my appointment had to be rescheduled because the doctor had back to back patients (overbooking). I did love the experience until I was receiving bills that wasn’t accurate! I paid upfront for my visits. $800 for a check up. I was getting billed from 3rd parties and wasn’t informed about it or anything. I feel they do get over! The communication horrible! And I feel they took advantage
I had my first appointment with Dr. Von Walter the other day. I cannot understate how happy I was with the interaction. She went through the usual mechanics of an annual exam, but also took the time to engage with me personally and ask about my sleep, diet exercise, and stress levels. She really paid attention to me as an entire person and not just a patient here to check a box or to seek medication.
