It's always a wonderful and humbling experience here....we all owe our brave heroes a little time and remembrance.
...My partner, Don and I were at the Virginia War Memorial yesterday with my daughter and her husband. We had not been to the memorial for about fifty years. It has changed, of course, and I was impressed. The film to start off was excellent. It was in 4D and was so interesting. The museum was very well done with pieces of history and stories. The weaponry was well represented. I would recommend that every Virginian and tourist should see this wonderful memorial.
Me and my husband went here to pass some time. To our surprise we both loved it. It's a must see if your in the area. It's free to get in and parking is free which is a plus. Lots of Interesting history. The 18 min movie was the best part for me..
