The service itself at VA Urology (Richmond) was fine. Dr. Murphy, Dr. Nelson, were great. The problem is it's impossible to get through on the phone. Their new Athena portal just doesn't work. We have tried to get a prescription refill through various ways. We're disconnected by phone and the portal won't let me on. A week has passed and the pharmacy still hasn't heard back from the doctor. Even the pharmacy can't get through.. We're thinking of looking for a different practice. A clinic full of racial discrimination. The old white woman at the front desk is so discriminatory against Asians. It's puzzling. I will never come back here.

I recently called Virginia Urology to reschedule an appointment, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The initial wait time was quite long—33 minutes—before I could speak to someone, which was frustrating. However, once I was connected, the rescheduling process was handled promptly, and I appreciated that efficiency. Can’t ever get anyone on phone….. also closes at 4:00……. Says 5:00 on here
