This is a failing bank. They used to be great, but they have become arbitrary and predatory. Banking relationships depend on reliability. When a check deposit that has been repeated every month for years, and credited the next day, is suddenly and randomly held up for over a week, while they bilk me for hundreds of dollars of returned payment fees, I call that theft. Certainty when there is no notification, no communication whatsoever. I would keep my money out of this bank.
This bank is terrible. I've been banking remotely with them for YEARS and they are so behind technologically. Their customer service is non-existent. I'm not terribly old, but this bank was so much better when it was still The Fauquier Bank. Virginia National Bank is the biggest headache of all the banking entities we utilize.
I don't want to tell you how bad is there customer service, I have been waiting to someone to pickup the phone for more than 50 minutes. Please don't waste your precocious time dealing with there customer service.
