This was my 2nd surgery here. The treatment I've received is exemplary. Everyone I had contact with were all efficient, knowledgeable and provided an atmosphere where I didn't feel nervous or anxious. Great treatment by everyone!!!
absolutely horrible institution to deal with, avoid if you have the option of going anywhere else
I stoped in because of a shortness of breath and concerned about my heart. They found nothing wrong with my heart. Unfortunately they did not check for Covid. I ended up in emergency room three days later with a bad case.
I had a total left hip replacement by Dr Kieras. Was told that I was lucky to have the surgery at VMMC. Surgery went great. All the people that took excellent care of me and the food was great. The pre surgery team put a pic line in the wrong place in the corner of my hand instead of my forearm. Fine if you just got an antibiotic drip but then add a hydration drip was to much.
