Staff is horrifically rude to patients and will kick them out at will without aid. I watched a schizophrenic man who was clearly unmedicated and in need of help be berated by staff and security, then kicked out of the hospital by the triage nurse, who had an absolutely nasty attitude towards him that was completely unbecoming of a medical professional. Called at 9:11 pm and spoke to a rude female representative. I was simply trying to find out who can help me get my medical records for today since there was a missing test result in my discharge paperwork, and she gave me a phone number that transferred me right back to the ER. When I called back she accused me of hanging up on her and responded unprofessionally, telling me the number I called didn’t transfer me back to Virginia Mason’s number. I got here with severe pain at 5:30 am, my condition requires incisions that never resolve the issue so I told the nurse no please prescribe me my meds pain and anti biotic. She didn’t send it to my pharmacy and instead gave me the print out. Their pharmacy was closed and lines don’t open until 9. She walked out so quickly I barely remember her coming in. Ugh. I have been in constant pain since 5:30am and my prescription got some reason is taking 7 hours to fill. I wish I went somewhere else.

I had a bad kidney stone incident. Second in 3 year. The previous one i went to other network (2 visits within 24 hr). I had to wait 4-6 hrs before getting a bed in the ER. This time a whole different experience! At the 2 hrs wait they took blood work, urine test and CT. As expected they sent ne home with pain killers. Less than 4 hrs after I was discharged I came back with uncontrolled pain. At the second time I didn't wait. Don't know what to say , all the staff were kind even tho I was prolly being short with them as my friend is doing good after his visit thru there into the main hospital, Stephanie was super friendly, Kennedy helped us get things in order to have food and meds , Elena was very nice and let me just talk to her for a few minutes , I was nearly delirious and she was very calm and reassuring that my best friend was in good hands , well my friend is sleeping like a baby in his room , at home tonight, she was right , and G, well t... read more
