Dr. Leis and her staff are the best. They truly care about the animals and the pet owners. Dr. Leis is a very gifted surgeon and veterinarian. Her staff is well trained and efficient. I have taken all of my animals to AGAWA over many years and would not ever consider taling my beloved pets anywhere else.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!! Unprofessional and dirty. Took our hedge hog there for a simple nail clipping they cut his nails to short and he ended up with an infection, took him back there because they would bleed and did nothing but tell me how to wrap them gave us no medicine for him, took him to a different place and they have him an antibiotic and wrapped his feet. Dr. Leis saved my Ellie's life. My Ellie has to have a lot of follow up care which requires me to come into Agawa every week so I have had a lot of time to observe this Vet and her team at work. I can tell you that this Vet cares more about the pets than owners. Is that a bad thing? Not in my book! I prefer it! She is in no way disrespectful to the owners and is empathic but you know that she puts your pet first! Her aid, Chris, IS THE people person and is generally the one who speaks to the owner. The staff is wonderful and caring. My lab had knee surgery 4 yrs ago and they saved her leg. Other vets wanted to cut it off. I was so glad I found them. The office isnt the best looking but its clean and taken care of. They are the most caring staff I have delt with. Crazie Sadie loves them.
