Came down for 944Fest at VIR and had an awesome time. The track and facilities are in great shape, plenty of space in the paddock, and the food was great. Staff was helpful and everything ran smoothly all weekend. Perfect spot for a big car gathering — can’t wait to be back next year.
Cross one off of the Bucket List. We came down here from Pittsburgh for a 2-day track weekend with NASA. It's a challenging track. It took me several sessions over both days to finally get the hang of it. The front and back straights are a riot. I'm able to hit some crazy speeds there. The climbing esses...wonderful! We came by to watch the race that was recently here we were fortunate enough to have VIP tickets that is always a blessing. The food was pretty good for what it was actually. it sucks They don’t have liquor drinks. It was just wine and beer, but we made do. Definitely enjoyable way of watching the race compared to having to camp out and bring your own stuff.
Great track and very scenic with lots of cool vantage points to sit and watch the races. The Grid standalone garage (for racers) wasnt a very big hit for our group. It was spacious and well set up with meeting rooms, bathrooms and a pseudo kitchen, with lots of tvs in the garage to link into. The major drawback was the fact that they didnt clean the roadways in front of the garage to reduce the stones that would embed themselves into the race cars tires in between sessions and also while unloading the cars. The track was absolutely amazing definitely test your abilities! Good facilities at the paddock! Could use better housekeeping at the villas but gets ya close to the track & cozy
