We attended a very informative movie/seminar about Antartica and climate change affecting our world. The scientist and movie maker were present to answer questions after viewing the movie. Antartica is not a place most people have visited or think about much I would venture to guess. What a great event. We came away with a huge understanding of how our scientists study the area and how the information is used to help our world -all done in an exciting, fast moving and fun movie event. Thanks VIMS for hosting.
We had so much fun today learning about Marine Science! We can't wait for the next family event.
What a wonderful learning experience we had at VIMS today as I visited on a field trip with my son! I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't been there go check it out!
