About this business
We grow 16 different varieties of Asian pears, two of which are unique hybrids that you can't find anywhere else! We also offer persimmons, chestnuts, jujubes (Chinese dates), black raspberries, blackberries, raw honey, homemade marmalade, and a variety of local produce. Everything is seasonal and picked ripe. All fruit is picked by hand and packed to order.

Virginia Gold Orchard has been our favorite pear place for years! The owners have seen our kids grow up through the years, and are always wonderful and friendly. We love seeing the owners almost as much as we love the pears. We love the pears and order them as often as we're able.

Nancy, the host at our favorite Bed and Breakfast (Shenandoah Manor B and B) served these amazing pears at breakfast this fall, 2014. We were hooked!!! Off we went on a mission to find the farm. Found it. Sampled. And drove home with a box full. The pears are to die for. AND they ship.
