I'm just not impressed with this practice. The front desk lady was the only person in a good mood. The nurse I had was unfriendly and didn't even look at me when speaking with one another. I waited almost 45 minutes to just be told there's nothing they could do and that will be $50. I saw a nurse practitioner, and usually I prefer that but the one I saw just seemed like she was uninterested in what I had to say. She was nice but not really helpful.

Outstand office and medical staff. I have been using their services for years, including several surgeries, and I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism of staff and, more importantly, results of their care. Thank you.

If you’re a veteran and you’re seeking treatment here through community care for certain issues, call first to make sure your VA insurance is accepted. They won’t bill the VA insurance for certain issues, even if the VA covers it. Some dermatology offices within the VA community care network cover all of your needs through the VA community care program but this office doesn’t. I spoke to a lady named Ms. Kathy here.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience when I had a procedure done at VA. Dermatology and Skin Cancer center in Newport News. From the receptionist to all the staff and Doctors they all showed compassion, professionalism and made sure all questions were answered before and after my procedure. I could definitely tell they all had a passion for what they do and the people they serve. Regards, Mike Holland
