Our bike ride was postponed for an hour because of a rain shower but we were well entertained by the very hospitable staff at the welcome center. Thank you so much for the informative history shared and kindly entertaining our homeschool group.
The best times to see the trail are in the fall and spring and it's great for walking or biking. I walked 3 miles in and amazed to see baseball fields, nature, houses and even a aplaca farm. I'm hoping to go back and walk the 17 miles to Damacus soon.
Absolutely scary place to visit. At night anyways. During the day such a BEAUTIFUL TRAIL TO EXPLORE i highly recommend. For ghost hunts its fun at night ! :)
