Beautiful bottom section of the trail and mostly shaded and cooler. I have ridden it many times - the top part - as well.

We’ve walked here several times when we travel up and down I81. Nice flat shady trail.
Une belle découverte que ce sentier multiusage. Vélo et marcheurs principalement. Pour notre part, nous sommes partis de Damascus , rendu à Abingdon pour le dîner et revenu au départ ( avant Damascus ça indiquait que le sentier est fermé, cause de l’ouragan dept2024 Helen. Les ponts ne sont pas encore refaits) . Entre Damascus et abingdon : 17 ponts de bois… génial. Paysages variés. Aller retour 150 m de dénivelé positif et 53km
