Before going to Virginia Cancer Specialist I really did not understand my diagnosis. After my initial visit the Doctor explained everything to me and I left there informed and with peace of mind.
As usual, my visit with Dr. Marsh went great. Check in was swift, simple, and courteous. Dr. Marsh as always was cordial, thorough, and very clear in his explanation of my test results and in his answers to my questions. For more than a decade now, Dr. Marsh and his team have closely monitored my health and have helped me avoid the blood clots that once nearly ended my life. I feel blessed and deeply grateful for the high-quality health care I receive at Virginia Cancer Specialists.
The first time I met with Dr. Marsh (hematologist), he had studied all the information from my other doctors and was well prepared. After talking with me, he ordered a large list of blood tests. I met with him a week or so later when all the results were in, he handed me a written copy, explained them to me and answered all my questions. I felt well cared for.
The doctors and staff at this facility are by far the best medical professionals I've ever encountered. The nurses are amazing and take care of you incredibly well. If you have cancer, make this the place to get treated. A+.
