My bosch dishwasher started throwing error code E07. I didn't want to fix it myself, so I called Virginia Appliance Repair in early January 2025. After several trips, about $500 in costs, miscommunications between the tech, the customer service rep, and me - they gave up. So I went on the internet, found a youtube video and fixed it myself for $500 in parts. The problem was obvious - easily discoverable without removing any parts. The fix was involved, but I was able to do it in about 3 hours watching youtube.
They were able to confirm that my dryer is definitely dead and not worth the cost of a repair
Recommend! Very prompt and candid if repair is worth it or just to buy a new appliance. I wish appliances were just built better these days.
We had a technician come out to fix our dryer. We knew there was something wrong since it make a popping and then grinding sound. The technician worked for about 30 minutes and then told us they couldn't find an issue beyond an exhaust vent issue we knew about that wouldn't have caused the symptoms. So fine, $110 to find out nothing was wrong However, that evening we received an estimate for parts and labor for an additional $280.
