This is my teenager's sacred place
Virginia has really helped my daughter and me. She is very engaging and is a good listener. My daughter has fun with her, so she likes to go see her. She’s learning good tools to help her manage her anger and anxiety. We are making a "tool box" for the tools she has taught us, which is fun and helpful. I have joined in several of the play therapy sessions and it has helped our relationship a lot. My anxiety has decreased a lot, and is now very manageable - if it comes up at all. I'm using CBT and other methods I learned in sessions with Virginia. I feel more calm and centered. Yeah, the therapy thing is definitely worth it!
