After 13 successive interest rate rises passed on within hours of the RBA's announcements, Virgin Money is one of the only lenders in Australia who has decided not to pass on the recent interest cuts to its 'loyal and valued' customers. Morally bankrupt institution who do not deserve the business their customers have given them. Avoid!

Puts their home loan rates up as soon as they can but won’t reduce them when they come down. Also was told (after the rate went above the average rate) that I had to call yearly for a rate review to get a decent rate

Did not pass on the recent rate cut. My current variable owner occ home loan rate is 6.04% other more reputable companies are currently advertising 5.7%. I called up and was brushed off in a polite way and hurried to hang up. Apparently my interest rate cannot be reduced. Very unusual business decision. The online login is clunky and not great to use. I will be refinancing elsewhere asap.
