I was not aware of a housekeeping shortage. On the 3rd day of our stay, I asked front desk to ensure housekeeping didn’t skip our room, only to be told that, “due to the shortage, they don’t do daily cleaning.” When I asked if it was every other day, since it was day 3 of not getting new towels, bed made, etc. they told me cleaning was at checkout. Essentially, there is no housekeeping for the duration of my stay. But I could ask for more towels or my trash cans emptied. Poor form Virgin Hotels.

Here’s a polished version of your hotel review: --- **Review** The hotel itself is truly beautiful — the decoration is modern and stylish, and the overall atmosphere is wonderful. It’s a shame that such a nice property is let down by extremely poor service. During my entire stay, my room was never cleaned, even though I complained about it multiple times at the front desk. Lovely expensive hotel and great location. No coffee machine in my expensive room. No wine glasses and staff unable to bring them to the room. Only allowed 8 coat hangers ( here for 4 days wedding spree) . Only one bar staff in the afternoon = long delays. Wouldn’t go back
