They don't answer the phone. If you leave a voicemail, they don't return your call. My case worker "forgot" to call me for my interview. Said "the workload was backed up and she's 'very sorry' please call back." (Said, Via voicemail" Meanwhile, I was at work and couldn't answer. All the people are working from home not answering the phones I say on hold for 5 hours for my redetermination and they hung up the phone on me. When I went downtown they informed me it was my job to get someone on the phone to handle my case. So I had to wait a hour to fill out a paper to get a call back in 72 hours
tried to renew my health insurance and then got a letter in the mail saying it was never received and that it was canceled. sent that form back in to get a hearing and have my insurance be until the end of the year, but never heard anything back from that either and insurance still wasn't working. tried calling for months and would never get through. eventually went in person, and they just decide to close earlier than what time it says without stating that and will not accept anyone that comes in even if its an hour before ... read more
I have literally been calling today for 4 hours straight. 4 different phone numbers and you can't get ahold of not one single person - the main line, the child care line, my caseworker or her supervisor. This is ridiculous! I know you all have a heavy case load, but if this would've been taken care of when they said it was going to be, then it wouldn't be a problem. The workers in this facility are so unprofessional. The only people that were kinda decent were the security guards, at least they were nice. The lady at the desk with the short dreads has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I get it you don’t have a great job but it’s still your job, learn how to communicate with people properly.
