After inspecting our gas furnace, the technician stated that he had never encountered this issue before and was unable to determine the cause. Despite this, he recommended replacing the control board. We purchased and installed the control board ourselves at a cost of several hundred dollars, but it did not resolve the issue. The technician did not perform any repairs or installations during the visit; however, we were charged $120. I can’t say enough good things about Vipperman AC! We originally called them just to get a second quote after another company came out and said the filter was not dirty and added 2lbs of refrigerant with “no luck”. This other company then tried to convince my sister-in-law she needed a whole new A/C unit for $8,000.
