VIP in Hillsboro refused to reimburse us for the price of a bad alternator we purchased from them. We purchased it on 7/6/13 for $210. Had Hillsboro Ford install it on 7/9 , two weeks later it was failing intermittently, increasingly failing more and more. Took it back to Ford on 8/5 who found that after 10 minute the alternator failed. I had Ford install one of their own ( thinking that if it failed again we wouldn't have to pay again for the labor).
