I called and requested an appointment for an oil change that day; Chris told me to bring it right in. I was there within 20 minutes and the oil change was done in less than 30 minutes. Very personable staff. Job well done

I like going to VIP in Ellsworth. They are always so good to me, and treat me as if they understand. Thanks so much for all that you guys do! There's not many places where people will work with you. These guys do just that. I always leave feeling better about my vehicle.

Anonymous person from 03/09/2015 sounds like a moron who probably has zero understanding of automotive technology. Probably self diagnosed his own car because he didn't want to pay THEM to diagnose it. He probably then told them to put a part in after diagnosing the problem WRONG, and they agreed. When it didn't fix his problem he probably got mad (like a moron would). They probably then explained that he should have paid them to PROPERLY diagnose it, like a smart person. No matter what my needs are for my vehicle, this location always exceeds my expectations. Recently I had an issue with tires that I had purchased there within the last year. Although they were 80k tires they had worn down so they were not safe in the snow. Within an hour I was credited money toward the new tires that they installed under the warranty and was safely back on the road. No questions no hassles and excellent customer service. I have never been disappointed in the service at this location. They always come through... read more

I live in New Brunswick, Canada and was in Bangor last weekend on a shopping trip. We left home Friday and during our drive I discovered that the exhaust was louder than normal and I could smell fumes. I googled garages and VIP came up, I called first thing Saturday morning and was told to bring the car right in. Sammy Stamelos was not only courteous, but took his time explaining to me what I needed to have done and the cost. His crew of Chris and Adam were courteous and did an excellent job. As a woman going into a garage, this is intimidating territory! They were wonderful and I would highly recommend them.
