I am extremely saddened to see so many negative reviews of Kindbody (formerly Vios). I came to this clinic after a close friend's recommendation. She went to another clinic for IVF previously and was steered down a path that was not tailored to her needs, which unfortunately resulted in lost transfers, pregnancy, and countless dollars. She found Dr. Jeelani and Vios from a friend, and quite quickly (in the world of IVF) gave birth to her daughter. Kindbody has dozens of complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau, several of which have not yet been resolved. I am in the process of filing a complaint due to nearly two years of negligence and extremely questionable and probably outright fraudulent billing practices. My partner and I pay out of pocket and we have always paid for services at the time payment was due. We have never carried any sort of balance with Vios or Kindbody. BEWARE OF BILLING PRACTICES FROM THIS COMPANY!! I have called, sent messages in the patient portal and emailed about my statements and automatic charges on my credit card. Either no one calls you back or everyone says they will escalate the issue with no resolution. This is a terrible thing to do to families while on the their fertility journey. Shame on this company and its poor leadership and professionalism.
I do not recommended Kindbody to anyone. The fertility journey is already tough enough, and when you have nursing staff/scheduling staff that mess up regularly, it is very frustrating. The staff during my journey between the Crest Hill location and Chicago location were very friendly, however, the amount of times appointments were re-scheduled due to staffing issues or scheduled incorrectly, incorrect/not enough of a script, etc. it is extremely frustrating, especially for a couple paying for EVERYTHING out of pocket. We love Dr. Jeelani - we did IVF in Florida (Jan 2024) and now trying in Chicago. Dr. Jeelani has been incredible for us and our experience has been exceptional. Thank you to all the staff here. You’ve all made my wife feel so comfortable and confident.
