My online ordering experience was terrible. I’ve never visited the shop in person, so perhaps they’re better that way. But I ordered a SolidSteel stand and waited three months. After the first month, I received only one call from them. I then wrote four more times before finally getting a reply—only to have the order canceled and refunded three months after I placed it. Complete waste of time.
I love my new Quad 3. Took awhile, post office picked it up the day they went on strike! No fault on Vinyl Sound.
Seems the in-store experience is positive, disappointed with the online purchase experience. Ordered the Rega 24v motor upgrade for my Planar 3, was under the impression that it was in stock and would be shipped immediately...waited 2 weeks to finally contact Vinyl Sound to discover they don't even have it in stock and I should expect to wait another week before it's shipped....waited two weeks and wrote again and it was finally shipped...by Canada Post the day they striked.
