DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! BEWARE YOUR NEW WINDOWS WILL MOST LIKELY LEAK, LIKE MINE DID! Unfortunately the windows they installed for me leaked. Three of the windows required New Construction windows but they installed Retrofit windows instead. Now these three windows leak quite a bit on the inside of my window casings, down my walls, and onto my floors in my home. After reading the review from Robynmd I have to say I agree and would not hire this company ever again. I would not hire them to put a window in a dog house if you want the truth. They had a nice pitch and worked the smud angle, smud now that is another story, I trust them as far as I could toss a train. reviews say it all! An employee of this company by the name of Joshua that works in there telemarketing department crashed into my car while under the influence ofalcoholon the bay bridge. Headmittedfault to me and ask me not to call the police because he wascelebratinghis wife or girlfriendsanniversarywith the smell of wine on this guys breath i offered him some gum and told him i was not looking to get him in trouble and that i just wanted my car fixed. Home Owner I cannot recommend this company for its vinyl windows. In 2007 they installed windows in my Elk Grove home. Today I'm replacing the siding on my house due to poorly sealed windows that have caused dry rot. Interesting enough, the company's owner showed up in my yard a few months ago "checking the calking on his window job." I pointed out the ruined siding and he argued that it wasn't the fault of his windows (so what exactly, was he checking with clip board in hand? He wouldn't say!) Beware the TeleMarketer! – This company is a VERY aggressive and annoying telemarketer. They call almost daily even though I have told them that I am absolutely not interested for a very good reason - I am a renter. If I were in the market for new windows however, I would eliminate this company outright. Any company that has to telemarket this aggressively must not be able to stand on its own merit for quality service.
BEWARE After having done business with vinyl designs inc of Sacramento, I would never recomend them to anyone. On Aug 13 2010, following a botched business transaction, I filed a complaint with the contractors state license board of California against the president of vinyl designs inc claiming contractor fraud. My complaint included falsifying paperwork, fabricating false allegations, and otherwise highly unethical conduct.
