My favorite restaurant in Redding – I've eaten here the last two times I've been in Redding. The wine selection is comprehensive and balanced, paired with the food, and well priced. The menu is innovative and everything I've ordered has been delicious. The owners are very friendly and fun to talk to, especially if you sit at the bar.
Great place to hang out – I was deterred, at first, by a bad review, so I checked out another restaurant nearby that was highly rated first. I came back to Vintage, and was so happy I did. My husband and I had a great time. Our server was attentive and funny, the atmosphere was relaxed, live music was fantastic (we purchased a CD!), and the food was VERY good. In all, a wonderful evening. I only wish we lived closer so we could be regular customers. We will definitely come back next time we are in Redding!
BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, RUDE WAITERS – I would never go back to this place again. Too expensive for the quality of food, the waiter was rude and condescending, and the meat they tried to pass of as filet mignon was mostly grissle. Moonstone Bistro, Market Street Steak house, or CR Gibbs is the better choice. Don't waste your money on this place.
