Very communicative until you send him payment, then he goes quiet. Don't send a payment unless it's something like PayPal where you can dispute if you never receive your parts. Constantly over promises when he'll be done... by several weeks if not months for some people. Has a terrible reputation online. John Parker delivered my Mikuni carbs and 1-2-3 ignition system after a very lengthy wait and I had to work pretty hard to actually receive them. John is known for being very friendly at first and then stonewalling you when you actually want the goods you’ve paid for. I put a $500 US deposit on an improved gas flowed cylinder head and with promises late last year (my initial order was in June 2021) of it arriving in spring 2022; an e-mail in May and numerous phone calls to Mr. Parker have been ignored and I have received no ... read more

I wish I could give this dbag a negative stars. He took over 2K of my money without any parts or communication of parts delivery. Email after bloody email with no response. Search John Parker on Volvo forums...
