I had a great experience with Vintage Grind in Chicago. They fully rebuilt a Vanten Mobler sofa from the early 60s for me. The craftmanship and the quality of the new leather hides were outstanding. My MCM sofa was in a sad state. The leather was cracking and discolored, the original down stuffing was shot. The price was reasonable, and they were just lovely people to work with. I could not recommend them more strongly when you have high quality piece that needs to be brought back to like new condition by true craftsman.
