Second time coming, first was incredible. This most recent time the host was incredibly rude. We walked in and they continued to talk to themselves without acknowledging us. Then when i told them I had a reservation they argued with me that I booked outdoor and I clearly didn’t as you can see on the open table reservation. The Host rolled her eyes and went back to talking to her coworker before begrudgingly getting us to our table that we had reserved. Food is great, service was unfortunately subpar.
Food was okay, atmosphere was nice, but overpriced, disappointing service, and a long wait. We arrived later than our group and let them know we had just gotten there, but my husband was never offered water or asked for a drink order. Our server rarely came by and was difficult to get the attention of. They weren’t directly rude or saying anything inappropriate, but their tone, mannerisms, and facial expressions came across as quite rude and unwelcoming. Delicious food and great service! Our first time visiting Vail, and we started here!!! I highly recommend the huckleberry pancake with bacon! I’ve never eaten something so good! The service was exceptional and the team was very welcoming!
I’ve been to this restaurant with my family, and unfortunately, the customer service was absolutely disappointing. We did not feel welcomed at all, and the staff was not friendly or accommodating, especially when it came to our children. I would not consider this a kid-friendly restaurant. The overall experience was very unpleasant, and unfortunately, the service really took away from what could have been a nice family meal.
