Been with the surgery for just over a year now...nothing but problems! Have been without my contraceptive pill for at least a couple of weeks now as my 1st 2 requests were ignored, 3rd request I got an automated response that I should go to pharmacy 1st (even though I've stated more than once I have the pill for endometriosis...which I am now doubled over in pain from), finally on 4th request Dr Baker himself issued it. Atrocious! We have been used a busy, efficient and reliable practice at our previous address in Derbyshire. The level of incompetence is beyond belief. Appointments cancelled with no prior warning. Important Prescriptions constantly having to be chased up. Even the pharmacies are aware of their poor service and blatant lies! My partner had now changed practice and myself and mum are doing the same imminently. I don’t want to tar the whole staff with the same brush however! Bordering on cruel. Completely uncaring and would rather I go without necessary medication than perform a basic administrative task. Avoid.
Regarding high blood pressure, I have visited the surgery several times over the past month for examinations and follow-up appointments. I would like to thank everyone for their helpful and supportive attitude — from the reception staff, to the nurse, who was kind and carried out the examinations professionally, all the way to the doctor (Dr S.M.), who was also conscientious and helpful. Thank you all very much.
Dr Baker is the best GP in the whole world - he is fantastic
