Doctor Vincent Tanamachi has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. What I like about Dr Tanamachi, is the fact he will run test in a heartbeat to get to the bottom of the problem. He has never prescribed medication for me without doing test first, if the problem wasn't obvious.
It was easy to make an appointment for the same or next day, but I was given antibiotics almost every time, sometimes after little to no examination. Once, a medication upset my stomach to the point of dehydration. Having told him this at the time, he tried to prescribe the same thing on another visit. And on yet another visit, he tried to prescribe something on my allergy list. I lost all trust and confidence as a result.
Dr Tanamachi is the best doctor I have ever seen. He listens and is responsive. He promptly reviews and communicates test results. He always returns calls and emails. I never have to wait to be seen.
He was extremely helpful in explaining symptoms as well as with remedy plus he was very patient as I told him what was going on with me. He is not the typical '20 seconds' Doctor Who starts talking over you after 20 seconds of explaining symptoms. He listens, pays attention and gives his Prognosis after respecting your speaking. After nearly 30 years of being with him I'm still impressed with his bedside manner & immense knowledge in both medical & pharmaceutical subjects.
