Since moving from Toronto to Comstock, I’ve been hunting for a new barber shop. After some bad misses with the usual ‘you sure you don’t want a one inch hardline? smug barbershops that proliferate this area - this is place is a happy and welcome discovery. My new dedicated barbershop going forward. Old school vibes with the ability to do modern cuts. Superb attention to detail. And you know a place is good when then use a real straight razor. Note: cash only.
Waited for 45 minutes just to get hit with the "cash only". The haircut for men is 35$ which is outrageous. Edit: That has to be one of the worst policies a barbershop has ever come up with. I'm not going to use your ATM machine that you make money off by charging fees from my card. My hair isn't as long as you say, and I'm sure as hell you wouldn't charge any females with longer hair than me with that price. Oh no I said 35 instead of 34, what a huge mistake.
Been going for 18yrs and have no desire to go anywhere else. Both my adult boys are regulars now. Great place if you want that quality of, old school barbers.
