My mom had stage 1 cancer when diagnosed. Her first line oncologist was at MD Anderson in Houston Texas. They said we could do chemo anywhere but recommended to have surgery at MD Anderson. Since we live in South Florida we decided to do her chemo with University of Miami Sylvester comprehensive cancer center. With Minocha she did 2 months of chemo before surgery which was very effective. Tumor shrunk 50%. She then had a Whipple surgery at MD Anderson in Houston. Pathologist said the tumor was 60% dead.
