Best in Charlotte My family has been going to Vina for years. She is always professional, does great work and charges a reasonable price. She has handled everything from minor alterations, like hemming pants, to tailoring my wedding dress (adding a lace Queen Anne collar to the open back allowing us to bussel the train) to making extensive repairs to a vintage Christian Dior christening gown so that my daughter could be christened in the same gown I was. I would never think of going anywhere else.

I brought in my 30 year old christening gown that had been in a sealed storage box since I was born to see if anything could be done to salvage it for my own daughter's christening. Vina had to replace parts of the gown and did such a wonderful job that no one could ever guess what the old parts were and what were the new. She salvaged a 30 year old vintage Christian Dior christening gown so that my daughter could wear it for her special day. It meant the world to my family. I cannot find the words to thank her enough. She took in a dress for a funeral. She did such a great job and quickly that I take all my items to her. She also fixed my daughter's torn Easter dress. The stitches matched so perfectly that you would never be able to tell it was ripped and I can keep it for my youngest daughter to wear when she grows into it. I love her work and hand out her cards to everyone so her business continues to thrive!!!

Wedding dress was not properly altered. When I told her that I was not satisfied, she said I looked perfect. The dress was falling off of me. She would not refund my money. She said the dress was too heavy. She did not comment on the heaviness of the dress when I brought it in or when she charged me $150!

Do not waste your money! – If you have anything of value do not take it here. I was not happy and when I made my feeling clear. I was not given anything. I now need to go and replace a $400 dress!
