Dr. Villanueva is the most gentle, compassionate, caring doctor in her field. I have had her since 1989, and she has truly been amazing.
Scheduled D and C and removal of uterine polyp. Doctor failed to obtain tissue for pathologist and reported no polyp. Results from lab showed she was not in uterus. She was very apologetic and that it only happened one other time.
Never ever visit her. I mentioned that I couldn't stay for a blood test because it took 40 minutes after coming in for me to be taken in to the back office. She proceeded to ask me about it while internally examining me and pushing on my stomach. Then when I thought she was leaving opened the door with me undressed and talked to me even when I asked her to close the door. She wouldn't and said this is my office you don't tell me when to close the door as I stood there undressed. Terrible.
I have been a patient of Dr. Villanueva for many years. I have always appreciated her compassionate personality and gentle manner. She really listens and validates my concerns. And she takes time with me. Never rushing. I have been to a few different gynecologists over the years, male and female, and Dr. Villanueva has been my favorite. I felt like I hit the jackpot with her.
