I chose this place only because it's close to my work place. Turned out it was a really terrible decision. If anyone is considering moving in, I sincerely suggest you to seek another better place. Here's why. 1. The property management charges $25 for "public area electricity", which basically means lights in the hallway and elevator. My electricity bill is ~ $50 for the apartment, and I have to pay half as much for "public electricity". This is really ridiculous. 2. Maintainence is VERY slow. I just moved out a month ago so it seems like a good time for a review. Pros: - Right on Lake Washington, including reasonably-priced rentable racks for paddleboards or kayaks. There's also a dock for boats but I think there's a waiting list. - The price is really good for an apartment on the lake. - The apartments are well-maintained and nice. - Management is good. While the location is fantastic, Avenue5 is a really shady landlord to have. They conveniently set very high carpet cleaning and general cleaning fees which allow them to take the bulk or entirety of your deposit regardless of how well kept your unit is. When considering living here, you should take this aspect into account.
Just wrapped up the Halloween event here. Decorations were amazing and staff is wonderful!
