Loved this place ever since I was a kid. My wife and I bought a timeshare in 1996. We will still continue to come despite maintenance is poor and updates are few and far between.

Sadly that picture is very outdated and it doesn't look like that at all anymore. Back in the day it was an awesome place to go and kept in pristine condition. Now it's dirty and unkempt.

The maintenance guy was very kind and nice. We had an issue with hot water and he came up to our room without a problem. The location is good and the boat house and dock people are nice. The beach is big and not often very crowded. The people are friendly. The water is often really calm and clean. The resort is very quiet and calm. The resort is by Arnold’s park. If I could give this no stars I honestly would. The hotel room was terrible, the employees were so rude, there was actually a timeshare holder who stopped us when we were walking out of the lobby and said "those ladies in there have nasty attitudes don't they" Our blankets on our beds had brown and black stuff all over it, and a giant pee stain. The fridge in our room didn't work, the ac unit was terrible, and I paid over $600 for 2 nights. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, I've been to motel 8 better than this. I wish I coul... read more
